Caring for smocked items 

Wash in cold water. 

Always hand-wash or use gentle cycle for smocked items. 

Use a mild detergent.

Wash thoroughly to remove all detergent.

Lay flat to dry. 

*For items that have multiple colors that are prone to bleed, soak
items in a 3 part white vinegar 1 part cold water mixture or use a color
catcher sheet that can be found with your normal laundry items. 

Caring for french knot/applique items

Turn applique items inside out prior to washing. 

Wash in cold water. 

Always hand-wash or use gentle cycle for applique items. 

Use a mild detergent.

Wash thoroughly to remove all detergent.

Hang or lay flat to dry.
